Mila Kunis Bio

 Mila Kunis, born Milena Kunis in Chernivtsi Ukraine on the 14th of August, 1982. Kunis immigrated to Los Angeles with her parents Elvira (her parents) and Mark (her older brother), at seven years old. It was not an easy start for the Kunis families that arrived in their new country with just $250. Kunis' parents, both of whom quit their jobs to relocate to a better location for their children and were determined to create an improved life for their children. Mark was a mechanical engineer, quickly found work as a cab driver, while Elvira, who had taught physics in Ukraine and later became the manager of a pharmacy. "I did not understand the American culture," Kunis has said when she first arrived to the United States. "I didn't know the people. I couldn't comprehend their language. My first sentence in my essay to apply for college was "Imagine yourself being blind and deaf at age seven." It was a very difficult experience to move to the States. But I got over it pretty fast." Milena Markovna Kunis, daughter of Mark Kunis' and Elvira Kunis' from Chernivtsi Ukraine, was born on August 14, 1982. Her older brother is also hers. Her mother works as a teacher of physics, but runs a pharmacy as well, while her father is a mechanical engineer by profession, who is also taxi driver. Her family moved to Los Angeles in seven years. In Los Angeles, she was a student at Rosewood Elementary School.When she was just 9 years old, she began learning to act. After auditioning for commercials in a variety of different spots and a variety of other commercials, she was an actor in her first appearance on television on Days of Our Lives’ in 1994. In 1998, she landed her first major role as 'Jackie Burkhart in the popular sitcom 'That '70s show'.After rave reviews about her performance in the role of 'Jackie' she lent her voice for the role of 'Meg Griffin' on the animated sitcom "Family Guy".
