Natalie Dormer
was born on 11 February 1982. She is an English actress. She has been awarded
an Empire Award and been nominated for two Gemini Awards, two Critics Choice
Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. Dormer was born in Reading
(Berkshire) and was first seen on television as Anne Boleyn on the Showtime
series The Tudors. This role has earned her acclaim. In Sweet Nothings (2010),
she made her stage debut. She she also played the Duchess of York in Madonna's
W.E. (2011), Private Lorraine in Captain America The First Avenger (2011).
After Miss Julie (2012) at the Young Vic, was highly appreciated. Dormer was
praised for her performances in After Miss Julie (2012) at the Young Vic. She
also voiced Irene Adler/Moriarty for the CBS series Elementary (2013-15), Sara
Price Jess Price in The Forest (2016) and voiced Onica in the show The Dark
Crystal: Age of Resistance (2019). Her character in Penny Dreadful: City of
Angels which was a miniseries based on Penny Dreadful, was highly and highly
acclaimed. Dormer was born 11 February 1982 in Reading, Berkshire (England), as
the daughter of Gary Dormer & Claire Richards. She is also the mother
of Samantha Dormer and Mark Dormer.
